By train
Antwerp Central Station
Exit the station on the Keyserlei side. Follow the Keyserlei (street), cross the Frankrijklei and continue straight on via the Teniersplaats to the Leysstraat. Follow the Meir to the square (Wapper) with a fountain on your left and turn left there. You will find the Rubens House at numbers 9-11. At the station, you can also take the underground tram line 15 (see the directions below).
Underground
- Tram lines 3, 5, 9 and 15
Get off at the Meir stop. Follow the Meir to the square (Wapper) with a fountain on your right and turn right there. You will find the Rubens House at numbers 9-11.
- Tram lines 4 and 8
Get off at the Groenplaats stop. Follow the Schoenmarkt and Meirbrug and cross the Huidevetterstraat. Follow the Meir to the square (Wapper) with a fountain on your right and turn right there. You will find the Rubens House at numbers 9-11.
- Tram line 7
Get off at the Meirbrug stop and follow the directions up here.
- Tram lines 10 and 11
Get off at the Sint-Katelijkevest stop. Walk to the end of this street and turn left. Follow the
Meir to the square (Wapper) with a fountain on your right and turn right there.
By bus
Bus 22, 25 and 26
Get off at the Groenplaats stop. and follow the directions ‘Tram lines 4 and 8’ up here.
By car
Follow the ‘Ring’. Take exit 5a marked Antwerpen Centrum/Schelde. From here, follow the ‘P-Route Meir Schouwburg’ until P ’Shopping Meir’, P ‘Van Dyck’, P ‘Stadschouwburg’, P ‘Inno Antwerpen’, P ‘Hopland’ or P ‘Horta’.
